AC Technician Job Vacancies in Dubai

AC Technician Job Description 

• Install units, thermostats, and components according to plans, specifications, and installation agreement
• Test unit after installation to ensure proper operation
• Inform the owner or unit user of warranty information, recommended care of the unit, and operating instructions
• Service and maintain unit according to contract with the owner and agreed upon schedule
• Diagnose sources or reasons for unit malfunction and recommend a solution to the customer
• Repair unit or arrange for and replace malfunctioned unit according to customer’s consent and requests
• Fix or replace thermostat, Freon and other parts or suppliers
• Respond to emergency calls for service
• Remove old parts, wires or components and trash from the work area
• Dispose of Freon or other air conditioning refrigerants or parts according to environmental and other applicable laws, regulations, and local ordinances.

AC Technician Duties & Responsibilities: 

• The air conditioning technicians install, inspect, maintain, and repair air conditioner.
• They ventilate equipment and controls making sure they operate efficiently and continuously.
• They perform regular maintenance work on cooling units.
• They diagnose electrical and mechanical defects and malfunctions.
• They install, replace, or repair equipment that has been damaged.
• They make adjustment and do calibrations of thermostatic controls.
• They install new air-conditioning systems and equipment.
• They clean blowers and coils, check tensions of belts and motors.
• They make plans and designs of new air-conditioning systems including their installation and maintenance.
• They inspect and maintain refrigerators and ice machines, and chilled water supply system

Eligibility Criteria:

• A High School degree or equivalent diploma in the AC Technician field.
• Having prior work experience would be required as per the availability of jobs.
• Having a strong ability to diagnose the problem and fix them accordingly.
• Must be highly skilled in installing and repairing damaged equipment.
• Having the capability to read, write and speak English (Basic). However, Arabic would be a plus point.
