About Mediclinic Hospital:
Mediclinic Al Murjan Hospital, which will be an internationally accredited 200-bed private hospital located in Jeddah, KSA, is a partnership between Jeddah-based Al Murjan Group Holding and Mediclinic Middle East, a division of private healthcare provider Mediclinic International. Mediclinic Middle East will manage the hospital and is supporting Al Murjan Group Holding with expertise and advisory services in the planning, design, construction, and commissioning phases.
The hospital has been designed according to LEAN design concepts, with related services clustered together to make the patient journey as seamless as possible, and ample parking is available. The hospital will be powered by the very latest technology from Oasis Systems, including a HIS and patient portal featuring the most up-to-date self-service options for patients, such as appointment booking, results retrieval, and wayfinding. Mediclinic Al Murjan Hospital is expected to open early in 2023.
REQUIRED EDUCATION
- basic medical degree and completion of higher education program (fellowship or diploma) recognized by the relevant UAE healthcare authority
- Certification and registration in the specialty of Obstetrics and Gynecology recognized from a Tier 1 (1) country specified by the relevant UAE healthcare licensing authority
- Active and valid life support certification (e.g. BLS, NRP, as applicable to the role)
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
- At least 3-5 years’ post-qualification experience at the Consultant level
REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
- Proficiency in an electronic medical record system
- Proven experience in managing both normal and high-risk pregnancies
- Should be competent in managing basic gynecological surgeries.
- Fluency in written and spoken English
- Ability to effectively communicate with others
- Knowledge of clinical audit standards and processes
- Ability to facilitate and support clinical clerkship training for medical students and junior colleagues
