1: Learning Specialist – Al Noor Hospital Careers

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB

To support and guide the development of employee competence through the design, facilitation, and evaluation of various learning and development programs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS

  • Identify and assess the learning and development needs of employees
  • Develop learning and development interventions that effectively address learning needs
  • Deliver planned learning and development activities
  • Monitor and assess the effectiveness of learning and development interventions
  • Document and report the outcome of learning and development interventions

REQUIRED EDUCATION

Essential: A relevant Bachelor’s degree or diploma

Desired: Certification in Training and Development or related studies

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

Essential: At least 3-4 years experience in the facilitation of learning and development or training in a formal setting

Desired: At least 3 years experience in a healthcare environment

At least 1 year of experience in using an electronic health record system

REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

  • Instructional Design (ADDIE model) and its application
  • Evaluation of learning effectiveness using Kirkpatrick’s Evaluation Model
  • Learning styles and adult learning principles
  • English communication skills (spoken and written)
  • Arabic communication skills (spoken and written)
  • Proficiency in the use of computer software and applications (e.g. Microsoft Office, e-Learning and Learning Management Systems)
  • E-learning content authoring tools (e.g. Articulate Storyline, Articulate Rise, Moodle, etc.)
  • Video editing software (e.g. Adobe Premiere Pro)
  • Learning support material development, including training manuals
  • Facilitation/ presentation skills
  • Knowledge of hospital and/or clinic operations
  • User training on the use of hospital information systems

Mediclinic Parkview Hospital is looking for a Hospitalist/Specialist Oncologist to join their team.

The successful candidate will provide patient-centric and evidence-based specialist-level care by ensuring compliance to ethical and professional standards set by the company and regulatory authorities

Responsibilities

  1. Provide comprehensive professional and ethical quality clinical services to patients in an effective and efficient manner
  2. Monitor and manage clinical risks associated with direct patient care
  3. Ensure compliance with clinical governance and quality management standards
  4. Maintain accurate medical records
  5. Ensure excellence in medical practice is maintained by focusing on the continuous professional development of self and others
  6. Maintain integrity in professional services by executing clinical services in an ethical and responsible manner

Required Experience
